DREAMS LINK
am interested in traditional Chinese garish visual elements and colour system, including the analysis of the application of colour and look in some old TV dramas and Chinese traditional literary classics. These aesthetic systems of colour have stood the test of time and formed a certain contrast with the colour aesthetics that people are used to nowadays. I am attracted to the evolution of visual aesthetics and how it works as one of the so-called spirits of fashion. In this work collection, I use curtains and colours common in the 50s and 60s of the last century (for example, the exaggerated blue eye shadow commonly used in Peking Opera) to express the texture of this aesthetic change. I have tried to restore and develop the materials and appearance of traditional buildings with some modern technical means. I intend to create a dream and enjoy the beauty of the integration by removing the obstacles between tradition and modern art.
